Lucknow: In a surprising development, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday was sworn in by the former Bahujan Party and MLA Jitendra Singh Bablooo.
He was one of the accused of being accused of in case involving combustion and setting the house of the former Congress Congress Head of the Rita Bahuguna Committee Joshi – now an MP – BJP fire.
Bablooo joined turmeric clothing in front of the Head of BJP Sworda Dev Singh and other senior country leaders at the party headquarters at Lucknow.
Immediately after joining BJP, he claimed that framed charges against him in the case of combustion was wrong and ungrounded.
“I wasn’t even present on the site,” he said while talking to reporters.
Bablooo added that he had demanded CB-cid’s question into this case because the case was submitted against him.
The incident has occurred in July 2008.
Following the comments of humiliation of the Minister of Mayawati’s minister, a group of masked men reportedly attacked Joshi’s house with an iron rod and then burned it.
Babooo was then removed from BSP by Mayawati.
