Ahmedabad: When the Criminal Court tried to give justice quickly in the case of sexual violations, a Ahmedabad court had to free allegations in the case of rape because the trial began 41 years after the allegations were made.
Survivor, who is now 55 years old, was delivered to the court that he did not want to pursue litigation when he married another man and mother for adult children and did not want to bear the legal process again.
He made this statement by means of Dursis (written statement) and urged the court to close this case, which was recorded the additional session D M Vyas in its order.
The court frees the accusation of rape allegations to want evidence, on November 30 this year.
According to the case details, a taxi driver from Mumbai allegedly married his married with the woman from the Sarkhej Ahmedabad area on June 30, 1980.
A female friend joined their partner to Mumbai.
The friend returned to Ahmedabad on July 3 that year and the woman was traced by the police on July 8.
Through the testimony of four witnesses including the female father, the court learned that the taxi driver took both women to Mumbai.
A witness told the court that the driver had put up a woman at his home in Walkeshwar.
The court observed that the woman was not locked up by the defendant.
Another witness told the court that he had been the marriage of a taxi driver on July 1, but he said he did not see the bride.
He said the bride had stated that he was 20 years old.
Since the Sarkhej Women’s trial center refused to testify, the court said that in the absence of direct or indirect evidence, the testimony of other pale witnesses became insignificant.
The court said that marriage accused on July 1, 1980, was established.
But it was not proven that the defendant married Sarkhej woman.
The court said the evidence did not establish kidnapping, marriage, or rape.
