Experts agree with who in Booster Shots

Bengaluru: The top vaccine and vaccine vaccines have agreed with the views of the World Health Organization (WHO) that the covid-19 vaccine amplifier dose may be needed only if there is an inadequate protection of the virus over time.
In a temporary statement released on Monday, which indicates a booster dose can only be considered in immunocompromised patients, people with immunity reduced or decreasing the effectiveness of vaccines.
Dr.
Gagandeep Kang, scientist for vaccines, supports whose view, by saying the recommendation is rational, while showing that there are many people who immunocompromised for one reason or another.
“There is cumulative evidence that the third dose really helps this person’s category,” Kang said.
“These people are mostly patients with cancer and those who use dialysis drugs and immunosuppressants who do not respond well to vaccines.
Giving them the third dose after a longer interval will really help.” In general, for all immunizations, the more.
The length of the interval between the dose, the better the immune response, said.
Which also emphasizes the role of vaccine efficacy in making decisions about the booster dose.
Dr.
Kang revealed that there was evidence to show the protection offered by Covid-19 vaccines that were not active in Chinese not lasting long, and booster might be needed.
This vaccine, however, is not used in India.
He said who refers to immunity by fading coming after the Israeli experience where parents who were given the Pfizer vaccine at shorter intervals found to have fewer protection from infection and disease.
The developing situation “Israel seems to be an unusual situation because we did not see the same scenario in the UK, where the Pfizer dose was given a separate 12 weeks,” he said.
“We don’t know whether it’s time to make a lot of difference or whether 12 weeks are far better than four weeks.
We don’t know whether we will see immunity fading in the UK also in months to come.
This is a developing situation.” Dr.
Jacob John, Famous virology, said the WHO document shows a national policy on the dose of booster must be based on epidemiological evidence.
“This is a sane suggestion,” said Dr.
John.
“For justification, data on the frequency of a breakthrough case [not only infection], the severity and mortality is needed.
India can submit a study because we have so much data available on a computer.
ICMR can collect and compile data and conduct efficacy / effectiveness studies.” He said if the vaccine court researcher was assigned, they could immediately study the data.
Mustr MK Sudarshan policy, Head of the Covid-19 Technical Advisory Committee, said the Indian government must immediately make a decision about the booster dose.
“The dose of booster in India is a policy problem.
The Indonesian government must make a decision from a programmed perspective,” Dr.
Sudarshan said.
As reported by TI, said Dr.
Sudarshan, feared the third wave and because they worked in a high-risk environment, some health workers had taken booster doses “many doses remained not used at the end of the inoculation session and can be waste.
Some medical personnel and paramedics have used this as Booster Shots, “he said.
“Some take a dose after checking their antibody level.
However, there are no records about this.
They take a dose for their own personal protection and risk.” Asked about health professionals who took the booster dose, Dr.
John said the doctor knew the risk and benefits – at least Theoretically – and cannot be blamed.
“When, in the end, if the dose will be wasted, what’s wrong in using it as a booster dose?” He asked.
However, Dr.
Kang insisted on a good dose of booster for certain people and vaccines, but not for healthy individuals.
He said health professionals did not require a booster dose now.
“I don’t say individuals or health workers don’t need a booster dose at all.
I’m just saying now because Seroprevalence is very high in India.
It makes sense to take a booster dose slower than now.”
