New Delhi: After the onset of a delayed Monsun over Delhi on Tuesday, almost a month late from the earliest predictions of June 15, the Indian Meteorology Department said the rainy season would be ‘normal’ or ‘under normal’ in the capital.
From June 1 to July 13, the capital recorded a rain deficit of 65% from normal for the period.
However, meeting officials said even though the rainy season arrived late in the city, the deficit was likely to be borne during the season.
Kuldeep Srivastava, Scientists at the IMD and Head of the Regional Weather Forecasting Center, said, “The rainy season in Delhi is expected to remain normal or below normal.

Weather Skymet, a personal weather forecasting agent expects a late Monsun withdrawal from Delhi.
