Explain the slow rate of affordable housing projects, the builder told

Gurgaon: The City and State Planning Department has issued notification of notifications to 10 builders for violating the terms and conditions in the license given to them to build 12 affordable housing projects in the city.
In the notification, the District City Planner (Enforcement) Batth Hospital said the development of the development of projects was found very slowly.
In addition, builders do not obtain work certificates and completion certificates in the period of their license validity, he added.
The projects under the radar are Pyramid Infratech in Sector 86; Infra aster in sector 90; Deligris Buildtech in Sector 112; Aar Housing in Sector 31, Sohna; Tulani developers in Sector 35, Sohna; Arete India Projects in Sector 6, Sohna; Sunrays Heights in Sector 63a; Shyam kripan infrastructure in sector 109; Revital reality in sectors 79 and 79B and pivotal infrastructure in sector 99 (two projects).
The developer has been directed to appear in front of the DTP office within seven days to submit a response.
“They are asked to bring documents to provide details about construction status and schedule,” Batth said.
He added that the builder has violated a license agreement with DTCP.
“In accordance with Section 10 (1) Haryana Development and Urban Law Regulations, 1975, anyone who is contrary to the terms of the license provided based on Part 3 can be punished by prison for up to three years and also responsible for A good,” he said.
Affordable housing projects were launched in Haryana based on policies introduced by the state government in 2013.
In accordance with the policy, these projects must be completed within four years since the dated building permit was given.
But most projects have been running behind the schedule.
DTP said the department has received several complaints from home buyers through social media and other platforms and takes into account complaints when issuing notifications.
A home buyer told TII that even after almost four years since the project was first started, almost 50% of work had been completed.
“We have paid around 90% of the amount to the builder, but continues to pay our rent and installments of home loans,” he said.
