Explained: All you need to know about Nipah Virus

The death of a 12-year-old child in Kozhikode has caused Nipah to scare.
While health authorities take all steps to bite it from the start, this is what we must know about infection.
Is that a nipah virus? Nipah virus infection is a zoonotic disease that causes severe diseases to animals and humans.
It was first identified in 1998 during an outbreak in Malaysia.
