WASHINGTON: New Biden Administration Regulations that require most foreign nationals to vaccinate before flying to the United States valid November 8.
President Joe Biden signed a proclamation on Monday who would lift the restrictions on the extraordinary US trip first forced in early 2020 to stop the spread of the covid-19 bar the most non-US citizens who were in the last 14 days, 26 Schengen countries were located Europe without border control, Ireland, China, India, South Africa, Iran and Brazil.
The latest country added to the list is India in April.
Disease Control and Prevention Center (CDC) on Monday released a travel assessment tool for people planning international trips and there are widely features and answers for travelers.
* Starting November 8, foreign air travelers to the United States will be asked to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and provide evidence of vaccination status before riding aircraft to the United States, with limited exceptions.
* Passengers need to show “official sources” that show vaccination status, and the airline will need to match the name and date of birth to confirm the passenger is the same person reflecting evidence of vaccination.
* CDC said it will accept approved FDA or authorized and the World Health Organization (WHO) the emergency use registered by vaccines.
* All travelers must produce negative viral test results within three days before traveling to the United States.
US citizens who are not vaccinated and others get exceptions must provide a negative test taken in one day before traveling.
* Children under 18 years are excluded from vaccination needs but children between ages 2 and 17 are required to take a pre-departure test.
* If traveling with a fully vaccinated adult, a child who is not tested can test three days before departure, but if a child is not vaccinated traveling alone or with an adult who is not vaccinated, they must test in one day before departure.
* Exceptions include certain clinical clinical test participants Covid-19, those who have valid medical reasons for not vaccinated and those who need to travel for emergency or humanitarian reasons, but they will need a letter issued by the US government which confirms the need to travel.
* CDC said there were no exceptions to vaccine needs “for religious reasons or other moral beliefs.” * Non-tourist travelers from nearly 50 countries with national vaccination rates of less than 10% will be released from requirements but must agree in 60 days to vaccinate in most conditions.
* Tourists must sign appreciation that they have been vaccinated and be warned that “intentionally provides incorrect or misleading information can cause a fine and criminal prison.” * Transportation security administration (TSA) plans to issue security directions that provide a legal basis for airlines to check vaccine records.
* CDC also issued contacts’ search orders that require all airlines fly to the United States to collect and remain in hand for 30 days and reveal to the CDC if contact information is needed such as a telephone number, email and address of the US which will allow health officials to track infection.
Collection requirements come into force on November 8.
