Here we tell you all about Apple Digital Legacy Program: What is the Legacy Apple Digital program? Simply put, this is a feature that allows Apple devices to forward their digital data to family members, friends, or contact their choices.
Apple has announced features in June 2021 but was launched late in 2021.
With a digital heritage, you can ensure that the data remains safe with the people you nominated.
Previously, it used to be very difficult to get access to someone’s data if they occurred but the digital heritage changed all that.

How do you use the Apple Digital Legacy Program? First of all, you must nominate inheritance contacts.
Whoever you nominated will be able to contact Apple and request a copy of all important data that you might save in iCloud.

To get access to data, they need to show a certificate of death.
Apple will then approve iCloud’s requests and data available for legacy contacts for three years.
After three years, the data will be removed permanently by Apple.
What data is available for legacy contacts? Almost all data has been stored in iCloud available.
To clarify, this is all inheritance contacts will be able to access – iCloud photos, notes, letters, contacts, calendars, reminders, messages in iCloud, call history, files stored in iCloud sound drives, safari bookmarks and reading lists, and iCloud reserves.
Whoever contacts inheritance will be able to download a copy of the data or can access it at iCloud.com.
Furthermore, iCloud backup can be returned to iOS, iPados or Mac devices.
What data is not available for inheritance contacts in some data and information that will not be available by Apple.
This includes licensed media – music, books, and other data.
They also will not be able to get payment information such as Apple Pay or Apple ID payment information.
Any information on the key chain, such as a Wi-Fi password, Safari password, credit card number will also not be available.
How to add legacy to the process of the process is rather simple.
