New Delhi: The Uttar Pradesh Government on Sunday launched a population policy of 2021-2030 on the occasion of the world population day.
While uncovering the policy, Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath said that it aims to stabilize the population in the country and reduce maternal and infant mortality bound by time when he mentions the increasing population of “obstacles in development”.
It came a few days after the design of the bill on the population control was installed on the website of the UU Law Commission Pradesh invited suggestions from the public until July 19.

Who will be applied? The provision of this law applies to married couples where boys are not less than 21 years and the girl is no less than 18.

* The pregnant center will be arranged in all primary health centers.

* Through increasing health facilities, efforts will be made for population stabilization by providing solutions that can be accessed for impotility / infertility and reduce the death rate of newborns and mothers.
If applied, the provisions of the proposed law provide the population of Uttar Pradesh (control, stabilization and welfare) Bill, 2021 will take effect after one year from the date of publication in Gazette, according to the State Air Commission (UPSLC).
