Explained: Why Taliban Want Globally Recognized

New Delhi: Taliban is busy working on the contour of new governments in Afghanistan to formalize their grip on power.
The last time the Taliban came to power in the late 1990s, their rules were recognized by only three countries: Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and UAE.
However, this time, the group wants to throw a wider net globally to secure several forms of international legitimacy.
