In the past few days, Air India has canceled several flights to the US.
The official airline carrier of India is not the only thing to do as people like Emirates, Japan Airlines also canceled several flights to the US.
The reason? Roll is broader than 5G in some parts of the US.
Here we explain why 5G leads to flight cancellations.
What is the impact of 5g on flights? On January 18, United Airlines said that the current 5G launch plan in the US would have a “awesome impact” on the flight.
The US-based airline explains that, “When deployed next to the runway, the 5G signal can interfere with the main safety equipment that depends on the pilot to take off and land in bad weather.” Part of the 5G spectrum – especially C-band airwaves – reportedly disturbing altimeter on the plane.
Altimeter provides accurate and very important height recitation pilots for landing in terms of testing such as limited visibility.
Why are we the only country where flights are being canceled in 40 countries so far but we are the only one where the airline faces this problem.
That’s because telecommunications operators – AT & T and Verizon – use C-bands that cause problems.
What does the airline want at 5g? The airline said they want the US to do what other countries have done.
They want to ensure that the distribution of safe 5G technology is done around the airport.
When United Airlines said in a statement, “The government in other countries has successfully designed a policy to ensure the deployment of 5G technology that is safe and we only ask the US government to do the same.” The airline is worried that the safety system on the aircraft will be compromised.
What did 5G other countries do? In France, the placement of 5G antennas has been restricted around the airfield.
The antenna is tilted slightly down so there is limited disruption by plane.
This is a 5G antenna height, the signal strength tells how close telecommunications operators can make it close to the foundation.
France, according to the report by CNN, has tilted antenna around 17 airports mainly to reduce flight risk around 5G.
What happens next? So far two of US telecom operators have delayed the launch of 5G in certain areas due to airline problems.
It is hoped that the Federal flight authority in the US said that it was estimated that 45% of US commercial aircraft could make low visibility landings on many airports where the 5G antenna was deployed.
It is expected to issue more approval but this is not a big US airport.
So it still has to be seen how the authorities and telecommunications operators resolve this problem.
