KABUL: The explosion near the Afghan’s main security agent office injured three people on Wednesday for hours after a bomb attack and gun at the minister’s compound brought the violence of Taliban to the capital.
The Taliban claimed responsibility for car bomb attacks and pistols Tuesday night at Defense Minister Bismillah Mohammadi.
There is no direct claim to explosion Wednesday.
Mohammadi survived the attack in his complex in the Kabul section which was very fortified but the violence was a striking illustration of the setback in security because US-led foreign forces completed their withdrawal and rebels to catch regional plots.] Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said the group Targeting the residence of the Minister as an important meeting on going there.
Government forces fought against attackers for more than four hours and the Interior Ministry said at least eight civilians were killed and 20 injured.
The explosion on Wednesday near the facility of the National Security Directorate injured two civilians and security officials, police said.

Supported since April when foreign forces completed their withdrawal after 20 years of war.
The fight has been very heavy around the city of Herat, near the Western border with Iran, and Lashkar Gah and Kandahar in the south.
A Afghan military spokesman said the emergency was announced in Lashkar Gah and government forces received reinforcements and US air support.
“Special forces have been sent to the area.
They are in good morals,” said a spokesman for the Armed Forces General Ajmal Omar Shinwari told Reuters.
Lashkar’s loss will be a big blow to the government, who promised to defend strategic centers after losing many rural districts to the Taliban in recent months.
Instead the family had escaped from their home in a small town, the capital of Helmand Province, because government forces launched a counter-attack on the Taliban.
The United Nations reported on Tuesday that at least 40 civilians had been killed in Lashkar Gah in the previous 24 hours.
Taliban fighters have taken control of several radio and TV stations in the city and moved home to stop people from helping government forces, residents said.
