Lucknow: The latest data center about exports has shown that Uttar Pradesh exported goods worth RS 21,500 Crore in April and May this year, up 152% compared to the previous year.
During the period in accordance last year, goods worth RS 8,511 Crore were exported from the country.
At present, rising sixth among the country’s main export countries.
To promote further exports, the government is preparing trade and facilitation promotion abroad in all 75 countries.
The MSME department will establish a centralized facilitation center for better coordination among district centers.
“This year, items such as carpets, carpets, textiles, footwear, glasses, iron, steel, aluminum, rice, sugar, milk, flour, plastic products, silk and artificial flowers have been exported to various parts of the world,” said A Government spokesman.
According to the report, the export of footwear and toys rose from RS 147 Crore and RS 26 Crore respectively in April-May last year to Rs 742 Crore and Rs 120 Crore this year.
The export of glassware increased from RS 40 Crore during the same period last year to RS 310 Crore this year.
Textile carpets and RS 744 Crore worth exported this year by fighting RS 247 Crore last year while exporting leather products saw an increase from RS 79 Crore last year to RS 493 Crore this year.
“Trade promotion and trade facilitation abroad are expected to increase the export value of 25 districts, known as the State Export Center, by Rs 250 Crore.
They will also provide direct and indirect work to 2,500 people,” said the spokesman.
He said that by coming from these centers, there will be export additional goods worth Rs 125 Crore from 25 districts that are less important.
The centers will provide work to 1,250 people.
