New Delhi: Trade and Minister of Industry Piyush Goyal on Sunday said the Indian economy witnessed bounce-back in every field, and this country was fine to achieve historical highest in the export of goods and services.
Goyal said India was on track to reach $ 400 billion export merchandise in the current financial year.
“Also, on the service side (exports), we are on a good track to rise to $ 150 billion.
So, collectively we are on track for historical items and export services,” he said.
The inauguration of the beautiful International Trade Fair (IITF), Goyal said the country witnessed the “highest” entry stream of $ 27 billion in the first four fiscal months, 62% leap during the annual year period.

The minister said India could become the center of the world industry and service.

IITF will help realize the purpose of ‘local becomes global’ and ‘make in India for the world’, he said.
He also observed that the Indian exhibition and the convention center developed in Pragati Maidan would be the best in the world and would attract a lot of attention, and a large trade show appeared in the coming years.
Referring to the GST collection for October at RS 1.3 Lakh Crore, he said this really showed how fast the economy would return to normal.
