Commuter, who has a hard time defeating hot and traffic, complaining about mismanagement and chaos on the border.
Many commercial vehicle owners show irony from exercises to install RFID tags mentioned to reduce congestion.
“Those (toll operators) do not let the vehicle pass without checking.
Even vehicles with RFID tags are also detained because their machines are not too responsive.
It is ironic that the system they want to implement to reduce congestion is, in fact, causing more traffic jams,” said RAM Kumar Yadav, taxi driver.
Even when the tailback grew long and emotions running short, the police stationed at the Sirhaul border said that traffic had just slowed down and caused around 200 meters to around 11am to noon.
“There isn’t much we can do.
MCD strictly applies the RFID rules and this will definitely make some congestion at first.
This will streamline so all commercial vehicles follow the rules,” said the traffic police on the border Sirhaul.
“However, we are in place and ensure that it does not end in chronic congestion.
Tailback is no more than 200 to 250 meters,” he added.
