Hyderabad: About 20 Lakh Housing Colony Populations built in extended areas in the ‘Outer Ring Road’ in Hyderabad, will get drinking water at the end of 2022, equivalent to ‘GHMC’ consumers.
On Thursday, The Hyderabad Metropolitan Air Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS & SB), Managing Director, M Funds Kishore, reviewing Infra works such as throwing pipes and water reservoirs of building services in Khairatabad in Hyderabad.
Speaking on that occasion, Kishore funds asked officials concerned to complete the water supply project and ensured at the end of 2022, drinking water had to supply and satisfy thirst in the community in a gated community, hundreds of housing schemes and housing schemes, built in the region Extended ‘Outer Ring Road’ (ORR), within the Hyderabad limit.
Air boards have designed blueprints to implement this water supply project under ‘Orr Phase-II’ and propose to build a reservoir with a capacity of 137 million liters, and put 2,863 kilometers of pipelines and distribution networks.
The Telangana government has agreed to ‘detailed project’ (DPR) and 1,200 crore sanctions.
The Kishore fund that invited agency, who took infra to work, for the meeting, was asked to start placing pipelines immediately and in February, at least a 500 kilometer pipe must be placed to supply drinking water to 270 housing colonies.
“Make sure, 50 percent of Infra Work must start building a service reservoir in February,” he told the agency.
