Extended E-Ticketing E-Ticketing Bus Contact

New Delhi: The Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) has extended the test of e-ticketing without contact on the bus until September 30, according to the order issued here.
At present, trials occur in more than 3,700 DTCs and more than 3,000 bus cluster schemes.
A command issued by the DTC on Tuesday extended the ongoing trial on the bus through the Chartr cellular application until September 30.
Extended trials according to the recommendation of the task force formed by the Minister of Transport Kailash Gahlot.
Contactless ticket trial at 29 DTC buses began in September last year, with the intention of protecting bus conductors and passengers from Covid-19 infection.
In the past year, E-Ticketing transactions per day have increased to more than 15,000, a DTC official said.
DTC, in the order, is also directed at the QR code display and posters to download the Chartr application for further awareness between passengers.
The number of passengers that occur for e-ticketing is increasing because the 10 percent discount in it, the official said.
The ‘Chartr’ application can be downloaded from Google PlayStore.
This application can be used to buy tickets by feeding costs or goals in it.
Payment can be made through various digital modes.
