Ahmedabad: Coronavirus-induced night at night was extended on eight cities in Gujarat for 12 more days, while the water park and pool were allowed to operate with a capacity of 60 percent from July 20 as long as their staff received at least the first dose.

The curfew between 10pm and 6 in the morning, which is valid until July 20 at Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Rajkot, Letter, Bhavnagar, Jamnagar, Gandhinagar and Junagadh, has now been extended until August 1 morning, said a state government release.
“The owner, manager and water park staff must be accounted for the first dose on July 31,” he said.
An official said the private and public transportation bus could not operate at a 100 percent capacity and AC bus at a capacity of 75 percent from July 20, and would be mandatory for the driver and conductor to take the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
The release also said the hotel, resorts and water parks in the state have been released from fixed electricity charges for a period of one year according to the announcement made by the chairman of Minister Vijay Rupani on June 7, and the entity must only pay for actual consumption.
