Ahmedabad: Extra time in a soccer match landed three football players from the city in the Strait as they passed night time and were found on public roads around 10:10 a.m.
on Saturday.
According to FIR submitted with the Vastrapur police, the police were deployed at Sindhu Bhavan Junction near the Food Court in the Bodakdev area was checking the vehicle to implement curfew, when they saw the trio’s SUV and stopped them.
“We asked them why they were traveling during curfew.
They said they went to play football at a club where the match went to extra time,” said the Chief of the Vastrapur police chief.
“They were not aware of time and because of that, they were late to go to their home and were arrested during the curfew,” FIR said the FIR said that playing football and was late because “extra time” could not be valid.

Thus, the three men were 21 years old from Kubernagar, a 20-year-old child from Sardarnagar and a 19-year-old child from Chandkheda was ordered for violating the norms of night hours.
The FIR stated that the three men came out despite knowing that there was a curfew and they did not have bait or permission for every need to damage the curfew.
Police personnel also ordered three men on charges of epidemic actions and disaster management actions.
Previously, cases of violating curfew were submitted when people were arrested during curfew when they went to meet friends or they were delayed in the office.
