New Delhi: India and Australia on Friday decided to consolidate their defense bonds and work towards the indo-Pacific open and inclusive to prevent China’s aggressive behavior, while also expressing concern in the threat of cross-border terrorism originating from the Taliban.

Towards the first Minister of “Two-Plus-Two” dialogue between the two countries on Saturday, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and his Australian partnership Peter Dutton said bilateral defense and security partnerships would be taken for “greater heights” in the delegation – the level of conversation.

Australia agreed to “improve its posture” in the Indian Ocean region by increasing cooperation between two air forces, maritime involvement and exercises, as well as strengthening each other’s maritime domain awareness through increasing information sharing and practical cooperation.
