Coimbatore: Madras High Court has added the head of the College Technology (GCT) school in the city as a respondent to litigation of public interests (pills) in alleged irregularities in tenders that floated to buy equipment and stationery, this time as President of the GCT Student Cooperative Society .
Randeringam R complainants in the answer told the court on Tuesday that the student cooperative students had participated in the tender floating by college when the principal, which issued a tender, was the president.
The court has searched the Principal to submit an answer within a week until a complainant rivalry.
In his pill, which was submitted a year ago, the complainant said college staff took part in the tender floating by college on behalf of the company owned by their family members who violated the rules of the Tamil Nadu government servant, 1973.
It was also found that the GCT student cooperative community took part in the tender process too.
The court has in June questioned the main secretary of higher education and asked officials to explore the names of college staff who had pocketed the tender.
