Facebook asked Rahul Gandhi to remove the Post Identity revealed the Dalit Girl family: NCPCR

New Delhi: Facebook has asked the Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to delete his position from Instagram where the identity was revealed from the family of a nine-year-old girl who was suspected of being raped and killed in Southwest Delhi, said the APEX NCPCR Children’s Rights Agency.
The National Commission for Child Protection was shared with a copy of PTI from a letter forwarded Facebook to respond to his summons to social media giants.
In a letter to Gandhi, Facebook said, “Posting that you upload through your Instagram account is violated the law below Section 74 of the Justice Juvenile Law, 2015; Section 23 Act Pocso, 2012; and part 288a from the Criminal Procedure Code.
In accordance with NCPCR notifications , You are asked to quickly remove this post.
“Following communication from Facebook, NCPCR pulled his direction to the company to appear before the commission with an explanation of the non-action over the Gandhi post.

NCPCR last week asked Facebook to take appropriate action against Instagram Gandhi’s profile for violations of the Justice Juvenile Law, 2015, the protection of children from sex (Pocso) ACT, and demanded the Criminal Code, and demanded the removal of the video from the platform.
Section 74 of Justice Juvenile Law, 2015, prohibiting the disclosure of a child’s identity in all forms of media and part 23 of the Act Pocso, 2012, also stated that there was no information or photos of children who had to be published in any form.

Information in Part 23 Pocso Law includes its name, address, photo, family details, schools, environment or other details that can cause disclosure of child identity.
Gandhi last week met with the nine-year-old girl and confirmed that she was with them on the road to justice and “will not retreat even one inch”.
Then, he posted a photo of his meeting with the girl’s parents on Instagram.
The girl died in mysterious state when she went to get water from the cooler in the crematorium in the old Nangal area in Southwest Delhi.
The girl’s parents alleged that she was raped and her body was forcibly cremated by a crematorial priest who mislaimed her that she was reduced.
Hundreds of locals, including the parents of the victims, had staged protests near the scene, demanding the death sentence to be accused.
