What is EncryptiptionD-To-End Encryption or E2EE is a privacy feature that ensures that only you and people you communicate can read or listen to what is sent, and no one is, not even a company.
Simply put, your data is secured with the key, and only the receiver and you have a special key needed to unlock and read it.
Recently, the company also announced that the backup of whatsApp users on the Android and iOS platform are now final encrypted to the end.
Users can now secure their chat reserves with their choice password or 64-digit encryption keys that only they know.
The company has added end-to-one encryption to one-one text chat in 2016.
The plan to add E2E to voice and video calls on Messenger was announced by Giant Tech in August this year.
