Facebook adds new features to the Kids Messenger application.
The company has introduced dark mode, the ability to add sound effects to voice messages and the ability to start the game in chat.
All of these features are only available for iOS users.
Users can turn on and turn off the dark mode from the setting of the Messenger child application.
If not, users can also choose to automatically change to dark mode according to the mobile settings.
Android users are said to receive features in the near future.
Messenger users can choose from five different options to change their voices to sound like you talk to scallops, or like robots, ghosts, gorillas or mouse.
Sound effects can be added to voicemail by tapping the “sound” mic icon, pressing and holding to record the message.
Similar to dark mode, the current sound effects feature is available for Apple iOS devices.
Finally, Facebook has introduced the ability to start the game from within chat.
This feature allows children to play two player games without having to leave the chat thread and go to the Explore tab to choose the game.
As stated above, the ability of children to start the game from in the Messenger chat is available for iOS users.
