Meta has announced new features to the Messenger application.
Giant social media has introduced features such as end-to-end encrypted chat, notifications for screenshot across from messages that disappear, stickers, gifs, reactions, and others.
These features, Meta said, intended to improve personal messaging experience for Messenger users.
Facebook messenger starts testing end-to-end encryption for group chat, including voice and video calls.
Security features are now available for all users.
However, it will not be available by default.
Instead, this is fully optional for users who might or may not choose to open the encrypted chat to the end.
Other security features obtained by Messenger are notifications for screens’ catches from missing messages in end-encrypted chat to end.
If Facebook detects that other users have captured the message screens that disappeared in the chat encrypted end to end, it will notify the user about it.
The company has also added GIF and stickers to encrypted chat end to tip along with verified badges to authenticate accounts.
Facebook Messenger also introduces the reaction and ability to reply to certain messages for users.
With the reaction feature, users can knock and hold the message to bring up tray reactions to make their reaction choices.
They will also be able to reply to certain messages in end-to-end chat.
Users can press long or swipe to reply to certain messages.
The company has also introduced typing indicators for encrypted chat and groups on messenger.
Continuing messages on messenger is also easier.
Users can press long in the message and it will give you the option to continue.
Which you type the ‘forward’ button, the sharing sheet will be displayed so you can share with one or many people or groups.
Users will also be able to create a new group before forwarding the message.
Users can store media received on messenger chat by pressing for a long time in whatever image / video they receive.
In addition, they can add stickers, write or add text, cut and edit audio before sharing them with others.
