Facebook triggered actions against accounts, Taliban posts

New Delhi: Facebook has initiated actions against posts and accounts affiliated with the Taliban, because the social media giant identified clothing as a terrorist organization under the law of the United States.
Facebook, in a statement released on Tuesday, said it had begun action against social media accounts affiliated with the Taliban including post and videos circulating on the platform.
“The Taliban is approved as a terrorist organization under US law and we have forbidden it from our services under the policies of our dangerous organizations.
This means we delete accounts managed by or on behalf of the Taliban and prohibit praise, support and representation” spokesman for the media giant.

Meanwhile, Facebook also said it was also an Afghan regional language expert team to identify the posts that provoke.
“We also have a dedicated team of Afghan experts, who are original and Pashto speakers and have knowledge of the local context, help identify and remind us of the problems that appear on the platform.
