Minister of Finance Nirmala Sitharaman on Monday announced the plan to monetize the four-year four-year infrastructure assets to collect Rs 6 Lakh Crore ($ 81 billion) under the National Motentening Pipe (NMP).

Most of this will go through brownfield assets from the central ministry and public sector entities throughout the road, train and power.
