Faculties to Start in Standardised Way: CM BSY

BENGALURU: Karnataka chief minister BS Yediyurappa on Tuesday said the state government has chosen to open degree and professional schools in a phased fashion although not colleges anytime soon.
Officially accepting the report of this high level committee for management and prevention of Covid-19 third tide, stated the authorities will look at a”standardised way” of reopening schools related to the degree of vaccination.
“What the government is currently contemplating is reopening of engineering, medical and additional diploma schools initially, following a competitive strategy towards vaccinating the pupils and teachers from those institutions.
In terms of schools, we’re still thinking about the best way to to start,” explained Yediyurappa.
The announcement comes in the aftermath of the committee requesting the authorities to start schools and schools in a staggered way.
The CM said schools will merely open depending on the level of vaccination coated for pupils and educators.
“The proposal is apparent that we will need to compulsorily vaccinate pupils and educators and just then open schools,” he stated As a consequence, CM has stated that the government will give priority to pupils and educators for education in the coming days to make sure swift introduction of schools.
