Ranchi: For change, treasury benches and opposition are on the same page here on Monday, the second day of the Monsun session, because both of them want to avoid participating in debate about the problem of rising prices and unemployment.
While the ruling party is willing to discuss price increases, so it gets the opportunity to place the BJP trade union government on the dock, it’s reluctant to discuss unemployment.
Likewise, even though the opposition is willing to discuss work in the state when the JMM government has stated 2021 as an appointment year, it is very reluctant to discuss price increases that have the potential to refer to economic policy at the center.
Results? The second day of the rainy season was washed in a pandemonium but a special debate about the “price increase and its consequences” was allowed to continue, although no one could hear the legislator that presented their argument.
According to the recommendation of the Business Advisory Committee (BAC), the house has approved a special debate in the second half but as soon as members gathered, Neelkant Singh Munda BJP showed that there were differences in the topic registered for the special debate and which was decided by BAC.
Munda said the members had proposed to argue about “price and unemployment increases” but the topic of “work / unemployment” was removed to be in accordance with the interests of the ruling party.
“This is the same as damaging the BAC authority by the ruling party,” he said.
He immediately joined other members of BJP and Sudesh Mahto from the Ajsu Party who had proposed work problems during the BAC meeting.
Opposition members gathered in wells, raising slogans against the government to escape from discussing the “wrong recruitment policy”.
Vinod Singh from the CPI-mL accused the BJP leaders to create a commotion to avoid discussions about the increased lover as the Government of Narendra Modi in the center was criticized.
“They continued to maintain slogans, hit the table and made a pandemonium because they tried to complete the MLAS statement criticized the center,” he said, adding that the commotion also fits the powerful party because there is no answer to delay promises with more than 3 Lakh positions empty in the state.
Mahto describes the event of change in the topic of special debate resolved by BAC as an unprecedented and bad for democratic function.
“I’ve never seen anything like this in the last 20 years the history of the Jharkhand Assembly,” he said.
The Minister of Hemant Cabinet Soren Banna Gupta blamed the opposition because it interferes with the process and claimed that nothing was removed from what was discussed in BAC.
To support his claim, JVM-P MLA-Turn-Congressman Pradeep Yadav said it was a CM prerogative right and speaker to complete the topic for special debates, based on BAC advice.
“During the BAC meeting, several recommendations were placed and the final decision was taken by the leader of the house in consultation with a chair,” he said.
In the midst of a continuing Pandemonum since the members gathered during the first semester, Finance Minister Rameshwar Oraon submitted a request for an additional grant worth 4,984 crore.
