Mumbai: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday condemned the police action against activist Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BBYM) who protested the hole in Mumbai.
The activists were nervous about the hole in the location of the city of Andheri.
BJP leader Devendra Fadnivis and Ashish Shelar took to the social media and condemned the action, said that the party would not tolerate it.
Sharing photos of police action, said Fadnivis, “we will not be silent and will not tolerate the police atrocities like that.
Will do stronger agitation.” The opposition leader also accused 15 BJYM workers injured in Lathicharge.
Marking the office of the minister’s head, BJP Mla Ashish Shelar also asked whether they had to agitate in Mantalaya by carrying a stick if the peace protests carried out democratically would be destroyed by the police.
Shelar also asked the instructions of the action was taken and demanded an investigation of this problem.
