Mumbai: Republican Party of India (RPI) President Ramdas Athaware claimed that BJP leader Devendra Fadnivis could pocket the second term as Minister of Maharashtra, if he only took his advice.
Speaking at an event in Mumbai, Athawar said that the reason behind the fall between the former Ally of Shiv Sena and BJP in the state was a post from CM and it could be easily solved to have leaders listening to it.
“BJP and Shiv Sena are not on the same page during the cm post, and therefore, the latter then joins the NCP and Congress.
However, during the upheaval of the power at that time, I had suggested Devendra Fadnavis who was distributed.

He added that he even had an alternative if both parties still could not reach the consensus.
“I even suggested it made me cm from the country if Sena and BJP could not reach the final decision,” he said.
Shiv Sena-BJP Alliance in Maharashtra was destroyed in 2019 on a skip for CM seats.
Sena, who is the oldest ally of BJP, then formed a partnership that was impossible with the NCP and Congress to form the Government of Maha Vikas Aghadi who is now in power in the state.
