Chandigarh / Jalandhar: As a meeting of sugar cane farmers with the Minister of Collaboration of Punjab Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa to discuss price increases and release of payment remains unfinished here on Sunday, they decided to continue the railroad and road blockade they have launched from Jalandhar on August 20 on August August 20.

Sanyuk Kisan Morcha (SKM) said on Sunday that the Punjab government has promised to get research experts to consult with farmers on Monday in detailed cost production costs, after that CM will make a decision on Tuesday.
Cane farmers will continue the agitation of Roco Roko in Jalandhar, which on Sunday forced the Ferozepur division from the train to cancel and divert many trains.
Farmers continue to occupy national highways and railways also in the city.
Their sisters came to protest sites to tie them Rakhi.
The farmers opened the way of service for two-wheeled and cars because of the festival.
The farmers claim that sugar cane prices remain static for four years, and if they fail to get their contributions Rs 200 Crore for the previous two seasons, they will be forced to reduce the area under this cash plant.
