New Delhi: Delhi Police have arrested 26 people, including five women, to run fake call centers and deceive US citizens by posing as Amazon customer service providers.
The police have confiscated 29 computers, two internet switches, modems, and other accessories.
According to DCP (South) Atul Thakur, a special staff team acted on a tip-off that illegal call center was run from the Sultanpur area at Fatehpur.
“This information was developed and subsequent supervision was installed around the place.

So far, the gang was suspected of cheating around 1,200 people.
