Varanasi: Varanasi Field Unit from the Special Task Force (STF) Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday Exploring the Covid-19 Vaccine Manufacturing Unit and fake testing kits in Rohit Nagar from the Lanka region.

The police also arrested five gang members between countries.
The people arrested were identified as Rakesh Thawani, Sandeep Sharma, Lakshya Javanese, Shamsher and Arunesh Vishwakarma.
Police recover fake covishield bottles and zycov-D along with testing kits that are packed in several cartons.
They also restored packing machines, empty bottles and swab sticks in large quantities.
During interrogation, Rakesh admitted that he and his aides were involved in making fake vaccines and testing kits.
These items are supplied to Lakshya, which are then used to supply consignments to various countries through their network.
