PATNA: Police detained three people including a Hyderabad-based personal security company’s proprietor and busted up a fake Indian currency notes (FICN) printing racket operating in Manoharpur village below the Rajpur police station region of Buxar district following a raid conducted at the wee hours Wednesday.
Rajpur police station home officer-cum-DSP (probationer) MS Khan stated that FICN values face value of Rs 4 lakh was seized from their possession.
The SHO said that detained persons are recognized as Dharmendra Singh Yadav alias Dhanji (33), Subhash Singh (60) plus a single Ashok Singh (50).
He stated all three are natives of Manoharpur.
“Dharmendra is the mastermind of the whole racket.
He’s a owner of a private security company in Hyderabad.
But it had been closed down as a result of pandemic two weeks ago and he returned to Buxar and got involved with conducting the FICN racket,” he said ,”Subhash and Ashok were all assistants of Dharmendra.” SHO Khan said that the raid had been completed on Dharmendra’s house following the district intelligence component of Buxar authorities obtained some input regarding the racket.
“Raids will also be happening at several places on the grounds of the data revealed from the detained persons.
Specific count of captured FICN would become apparent after a while,” Khan explained.
“The interrogation of the arrested trio is still happening.
It will become apparent if they had been circulating the FICN at the district were providing it out also,” he explained.
Khan reported that authorities are attempting to detain those who have been serving the trio to provide the FICN after becoming published.
