Srinagar: Central Investigation Bureau (CBI) on Saturday invaded 22 locations in J & K, including 12 in Kashmir in connection with the case of 2018 fake weapons licenses, officials said.
An official said that the Sleuth CBI carried out a wide attack at 22 places in J & K which included 12 places in Kashmir and 10 in the Jammu area.
“Raids were carried out in connection with the case of fake weapons licenses submitted to the CBI in 2018,” the official said.
This case was first investigated by the anti-terror troops Rajasthan, after which was handed over to the CBI when surprising Revelation of the fake gun license given to non-J & K residents had issued a large number of false weapons licenses to non-J & K residents when he was Deputy Commissioner (DC), Udhampur.
