Guwahati: Fake Tweet, bear the name of Minister Assam Himanta Buswa Sarma which states that schools and colleges in the state will be closed again from November 20, considering Covid cases that increased, creating confusion in the academic circles on Wednesday.
Sarma immediately asked the police to record the tweet and act through his official Twitter handle.
“Fake tweets carrying my names to circulate say that because cases # Covid19 has risen schools & colleges closed from November 20.
It’s wrong & it shouldn’t be noticed.
Stay wrong information and fake news!” Sarma tweeted.
