Chennai: PMK Leader Dr S Ramadoss on Tuesday said the Tamil Nadu government should not set “impossible vaccination targets” for health workers.
He called it wrong practice.
He expressed shocked on reports of fake vaccination entries.
He showed various types of fake vaccination entries using cellphone numbers that were not used / less used, the telephone number of the person who died and produced data using a multi-identity card.
This practice will affect people who are not vaccinated if the amount is used to produce fake entries, he said.
He demanded that the government order detailed investigations.
Although the Director of Public Health Services issued a circular to the practice, the authorities must take the right steps to eliminate false entries that crawl into the vaccination drive until now, he said in a statement.
“It is necessary to identify the total number of fake entries,” he said.
He noted that disappointing knowing that malpractice damaged the vaccination drive conducted in the state.
