Famous criminal giving up on shots

Lucknow: The criminal was feared with a gift of Rs 50,000, Vijay Singh aka Bijji aka Bijendra, a resident of Khalagpur Police Station, Kotwali Akbarpur, Ambedkarnagar, was injured in a meeting with a special task force on Saturday.
He was declared dead by a doctor to be taken to the hospital.
Stf officials said Vijay Singh was named accused of more than 18 cases including five murders, besides that loot, robbery and dakoity.
“Vijay also works as a contract killer for a different gang throughout India and runs a racket of extortion.
The criminal record is being tracked,” they added.
ADG, Law and Ordia, Prashant Kumar said Vijay planned another murder when STF was told about his movements.
“The team put the trap and cornered the defendant on Jalan Paraspur-nawagganj in the Paraspur Police Station area.
He opened the fire on the STF team when asked to give up and suffered a shot with a reply shot.
He was taken to a government hospital where he was declared dead,” Kumar said .
Vijay has a criminal record in Amethi Regency, Ayodhya and Gorakhpur.
In January 2021, Vijay had shot dead one Sachin aka Guddu in the Mehrua police station after the cash prize was announced to him by the police.
He has committed a crime since 1997.
