Kanpur: City police use unusual tactics to catch famous vehicle thieves, Dharmendra Chandel aka Thakur’s fight, who is hugging them for more than a year despite some attacks in their hiding place.
The employees and police officers of the Kakado police station reached the alleged house of the Criminal Udaipur Village in the Sachendi district of the District Cipta and submitted himself as a sister of a girl and offered the last wedding proposal along with Rs 10 Lakh as a dowry.
The two police officers were also accompanied by an old man, which they introduce as a girl’s father.
They then displayed a photo of a beautiful girl as a bride wannabe where members of the criminal family were impressed and agreed to their proposal.
After this, the two police insisted on the family to show them the prospective groom.
Automatic thieves, who hid somewhere in Delhi, bit bait and rushed to their home village.
He walked to the trap on Monday night and was immediately arrested.
