Farheen is an actress who plays the bride decked up in the first song Dekha Tumhe from ‘Jaan Tere Naam’ where Ronit Roy dances on cult status.
Twenty-four years after he stopped the film, he was now planning back to Showbiz.
Farheen who chose Kamal Haasan for Shah Rukh Khan in his heyday had expressed his desire to act again.
Delhi-based actress said, “My children are mature now and if I am in Mumbai, maybe I will continue to act in the film but now I am ready to travel.”
Farheen chose a wedding over the film when his career peaked.
He said, “I don’t think to settle so fast but it just happened and after that, it was my family more important to me and then my children.” He married former Cricketer India Manoj Prabhakar.
He added that acting bugs never died and that his children grew up with one of them planned to become directors.
He added, “I asked my husband Manoj and he told me that you were free now and had a full time for myself so here I returned to where I was in the film industry.” After marrying Manoj Prabhakar, he moved to Delhi.
Farheen has worked with actors like Akshay Kumar, Ronit Roy and several other top stars and he was offered the role of Shilpa Shetty in ‘Baazigar’.
He said, “I was offered a shilpa role in the film but, at the same time, I was offered a role with Kamal Haasan and at that time people wanted to work with him.
The film was under Sivaji banner Ganesan so I chose the film in ‘bazigar’ as date of clash.
”
He has been related to some of his friends like Deepak Balraj, Deepak Tijori, Aditya Pancholi, and Zarina Wahab but not the industry in general.
He said, “When I came to Mumbai, I ordered and met them but had not been completely touched by other colleagues.”
He is now worried about finding the right role.
He said, “I want to play the character that suits my age and is quite important for me to agree to do it.
I have given your brief to my manager and sure he knows what is best for me.”
