Gurgaon: In the first, the Faridabad police social media lab conducted a 20-day trial to find out whether sharing information about crime on Twitter helped the police to solve them or perfect their strategies.

There is no information in comments even though helping the police solve crime or improve its strategy.
Police Commissioner Faridabad O P Singh said found that funny content helped multiply followers and increased the level of user activity exponentially.

Singh said that the message sharing platform helped spread awareness and sharing information.
“However, they must have an algorithm to identify and block it does not make sense in real time,” he added.
The platform utility as a crime mircbrogging page is undeniable, said Singh.
