Farmers are looking for a toll-free trip in Haryana, warning agitation

By: Sagarika Kissu Gurugram: Farmers Stomping Demonstrations at the Toll Plaza in Haryana on Monday threatened to launch large agitation on January 2 to the National Highway Authority (NHAI) if their demand for pulse-free movement was not fulfilled.
In the Rewari district, the farmers asked permanent facilities to get their vehicle released from the cost of the highway on Rohtak-Rewari highway.
They demanded that the pass be allocated for farmer vehicles, members of the farmer organization and villagers within 20 km around Gangayacha Plaza.
In Jind too, farmers do not allow vehicles to pay toll today at Badowal Plaza in Narwana City on Monday.
The farmers announced that they would continue their Dharna until their demands were fulfilled and that their vehicle was released from paying toll costs.
“Farmers demand that areas under 14km are made for free.
We have offered that farmers who live in a 20km radius can get RS 258 monthly feedback and travel freely but they demand a total exception,” said a toll employee, “an employee said , Which does not want to be named.
Sunil Badowal, a farmer activist of Narwana City, said, “We want to end the Highhandedness of this toll worker.
This tax is a burden for us and on behalf of Fastag, they charge us more money.
