Ambala: The farmers burned empty bags printed with photos of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Head of the Head of Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar and Deputy Minister Dushyant Singh Chautala who was given five kg of grains as part of ‘Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PM-GKAY) in Korwa Village and Bhurangpur from Ambala on Thursday.
The farmers said that they did not oppose rations and seeds distributed to beneficiaries but they opposed Crores Rupees spentlessly unnecessary in politician publicity.
They said food grains were given at the previous government but never scored photos of the leaders.
In the village of Korwa, the depot holder of the Kuldeep Singh gave a ration to around 300 people in a bag carrying photos of leaders.
