Noida: Farmers affected by the process of land acquisition of Dedicated transportation corridors on Wednesday held Panchayat in the village of Bodaki after around 10 families received warnings from their train officials.
The farmers who protested accused that while the court’s decision was waiting, the train had issued a notice to them because it cleaned the ground.
They have staged Dharna for problems in the Bodaki village for the past 24 days.
Gautam Budh Nagar administration also on Monday issued final notice to farmers to provide land or face actions.
Sunil Fouji, a farmer who has led protests, told TII that this problem was waiting in the Allahabad High Court and the order expected in the first week of August.
“Even if the order is not in support of farmers, the train must follow the Land Liberation Law, 2013 and provide compensation to us.
Bodaki fell under a semi-urban area and in such cases, compensation must be four times common land land.
Next , there has been no social impact assessment of land acquisition, “he said.
