Farmers held a tractor rally, this time over eternal land

Noida: Different clothes from farmers held protests against the three development authorities on various demands on Monday.
Farmers have demanded regularization of work and construction of development in the eternal land, handover from the plot developed for resettlement, and employment opportunities for young people, among others.
While hundreds of farmers have protested the Noida Authority for the past four years, similar agitation has also begun against Greater Noida and the Jamuna far road authority.
“This time, we will not move until our demands are fulfilled.
We have waited too long and want the state government to consider bad conditions,” said Suraj Yadav from Sarfabad Village.
On Monday, tractor rally was held from sector 6 to the district judge’s office.
Then, a group of farmers put keys outside the Yamuna Express Authority Building in Greater Noida and agreed to resign only if they were called to decide other considerations for demands.
The source said the spread of the police could increase around the office of three authorities after protests.
A Noida authority official said a group of farmers tried to put up pressure despite their demands had been fulfilled.
“We have considered their demands under the provisions.
Additional demands cannot be fulfilled,” the official said.
