Hathur (Jagraon): In a show of anger against the three controversial agricultural laws, the villagers have installed posters in several villagers, asking politicians from various political parties not to carry out political activities in the villages.
This comes at the time of elections in the state just a few months away.
Toi found many poster like that in two villages in the Jagraon area.
Poster has a symbol of all major political parties in Punjab with cross on them and the text that is loosely translated as a ‘booty of political parties’.
The message said for the past 74 years, they sucked the blood of people and made Punjab debt ridden, which had received five pensions, such politicians and “strays” were strictly prohibited from entering the village.
“Until black law is not removed, we will not allow politicians to enter the village.
If there is a political leader or friend of the carikronya found in the village, he will be responsible for his services (rent),” read the message.
The message was issued by Bhartiya Kisan Union and the entire population of certain village villages.
General Secretary of the Kendra Punjab investigation, Kanwalujit Khanna, whose group has supported the agricultural movement, said such posters have been installed by villagers in around 35 to 40 villages, including Hathur, Kaunke, Manuke, Sherpura, Johlan, Sherpura, Yohan, Sherpura , Jalaluddal, Rattowal and Toose, from Ludhiana District.
He said most poster had a message that until the “black lawyer law” was not removed, no political parties had to disturb them in the villages, not to defend their attention because people struggled to get this law was revoked.
Meanwhile, many villagers message for everyone is clear.
“Our farmer brothers are sitting on Delhi’s border for months now and villagers think that if they protest such a way, they can also show their support.

He said such a poster was in Johlan Village too.
Inderdit Singh from Kaunke Village said that the poster had put up pressure on politicians so that their request canceled three “black” agricultural law was intended.
Sardara Singh Johal, a famous agroconomy who has a view of political events in the state, the farmer said in front and they have decided to fight.
He said poster was a reaction, which showed that they were not happy with the political class in the state.
“They felt that every party opposed them.
So they put up pressure on the political class to convey their complaints.

Dhaliwal said political leaders must refrain from the election campaign to farmers’ struggle when weakening agitation.
He said they would show black flag to politicians in the future too.
