Farmers to take part in the ‘Tractor Parade’ on I-Day

Gurgaon: farmers in the state prepared for the tractor parade proposed on independence day.
Farmers’ scores from Jind, Noah, Hisar, Bahadurgarh, and Gurgaon will come out on the streets of tractors, bicycles and their cars to provide support to Samyukta Kisan Morcha’s call for parades in blocks and tehsil levels.
The body of the farmer throughout the country has decided to mark the 75th Independence Day as ‘Kisan Mazdoor Azaadi Sangram Diwas’ to instill fresh vapor into their movements, which began last year to oppose the three controversial agricultural laws.
Manjit Thakral, a member of Jai Kisan Andolan, told Tii, “on this independence day, we will use our rights to be free of authoritarian and anti-people’s state chains.
We will take the tractor march on Sunday morning.

“In Gurgaon, for example, farmers and social activists will celebrate independence day by increasing their agitation and increasing anti-government slogans.

Our demonstration will be a message to the government that we do not retreat and the movement is only stronger.” Jind, around 20,000 farmers will issue a parade in more than 5,000 tractors and celebrate the Kisan Mazdoor Azaadi Sangram diwas.
