Chandigarh: The head of the new Punjab congress was appointed by Navjot Singh Sidhu on Saturday said for him “victory” Samyukt Kisan Morcha was a top priority and he would go “barefoot” to meet farmers protesting central agricultural law whenever they called him.
Samyukt Kisan Morcha is an umbrella body of the farming union that pioneered agitation of three central agricultural laws.
Farmers have protested Delhi Borders since late November, demanding legal revocation.
“I consider Samyukt Kisan Morcha’s victory as my top priority.
I have mentioned farmer agitation as a sacred for the past year,” Sidhu said to reporters at Chamkaur Sahib, where he received a response from party workers, a day after taking over the head of the Congress Country.
Chamkaur Sahib is the election of the Minister of Punjab Chararjit Singh Channi.
Party supporters bombarded flower petals in Sidhu when the Cavalcaded passed various places.
Changed politicians also visited various religious places.
Then, he told reporters in Morinda that he wanted to ask farmers protest how the Punjab government could help them in the cause.
“I want to ask them how our government strength can help them in a big way.
Look, the increase in costs, decreased results and income for the past 25 years is forcing farmers to hold agitation.
It is our intention that this social movement must be converted into economic forces.
, “said Sidhu.
He remembered that he had put on a black flag at his home to support anxious farmer.
“Every time they call me, I will barefoot and take their blessings,” he said.
Sidhu also raises problems regarding the case of termination, power rates and drug threats.
“Every Punjabi wants justice in ‘Beadbi (Temptation) from the Sahib Teacher’,” Sidhu said.
He said people wanted to know the names of big fish behind the threat of drugs.
“Why do we have a power purchase contract at Rs 18 per unit when available at Rs 2 per unit.
When we know every year, solar power rates decrease by 20 percent, then why Punjab pays from Rs 7 to 18 per unit.
Why should you buy From the national grid? We must provide answers to all these questions, “said Sidhu raised a high Tarrif problem.
Furthermore Sidhu said his party had an agenda of 18 points.
“Every MLA, MP and workers are this agenda guard and it must be implemented,” said Sidhu.
“We have no choice but to move forward,” Sidhu said, pointing towards the agenda of 18 points.
The high party command last month has asked the Minister of Punjab Minister Amarinder Singh to act on 18 issues, including the desecration of Granth Sahib teachers, drugs and power purchasing agreements.
