New Delhi: Thousands of farmers from Uttar Pradesh and neighboring countries on Sunday gathered at Muzaffarnagar for ‘Kisan Mahapachayat’ organized by Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM).
The farmers demanded to revoke three of the three new laws imposed by the center, which they maintained harmed the interests of agricultural communities and small traders.

The Bahujan Party of Jajjaj also demanded that the center accept the demands of farmers who had protested nearly nine months against three agricultural laws.
Congress Chief of Congress Ajay Kumar Lallu said the alleged BJP crackdown in farmers as seen in Haryana recently and “three black farming laws” will also be a big problem in future polls and people will stand near farmers.
